Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all program activities in support of the PWS objectives. This role involves managing and coordinating tasks to ensure successful implementation and operation of complex information technology programs. The Program Manager manages the main program, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects within government settings. They will be adept at navigating complex program requirements and have a strong ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all program activities and objectives.
- Liaise with USTRANSCOM CO and COR for approval of key personnel.
- Manage program schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure the program meets required standards and objectives.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Analyzing program risks.
Qualifications:
- Background in engineering, operations research, computer science, or business administration.
- Relevant experience in overseeing large complex IT programs.
- Preferred: Level 3 DAU Program Manager or PgMP/PMP.
- Experience leading IT programs for government organizations and ERP implementations.
- Proven experience in program management
- Proven experience managing a team.
