Job DescriptionJob Description

The Mortgage Servicing Administrative Assistance I role performs customer service functions, clerical operations, payment reminder calls, new loan setup, prepare and mail new loan welcome packages, payment posting and monthly reporting. The position requires the application of various procedures and knowledge of the business unit’s product(s) and application(s) to be performed in accordance industry regulatory requirements, federal and state laws. Primary responsibilities include various Mortgage Loan Servicing functions from New Loan Set Up to Payoff/Disposition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides Courteous, Timely Customer Service/Information (Oral And Written) To All MFA Borrowers, Or To Creditors On The Borrower’s Behalf
  • New Loan Setup/ Welcome Package Preparation and Mailing
  • Filing, Scanning And Mailing Of Various Documents
  • Document Retention
  • Process Returned Mail
  • Customer Service Calls and related activities
  • Back-Up Support For Collection Reminder Calls
  • Cashiering/Payment Posting
  • Preparation And Creation Of Reports And Data Analysis
  • Payoff Processing Support
  • Process Lien Release Functions Within Established Time-Frames

Education and Experience

High school diploma; two (2) years administrative assistant experience; intermediate computer experience; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multi-task; maintain confidentiality.
