Reports to: Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations
Status: Full-Time
The Provider Administrative Assistant is responsible for working closely with the Provider Leadership group to carry out various administrative tasks required to maintain high quality, efficient provider group operations at Duke City Cares.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete administrative tasks relating to the provider group
- Facilitates weekly onboarding meetings
- Schedule prospective provider interviews
- Schedule and oversee new provider hires onboarding process
- Schedule clinic director meetings with Medical Director and CMO
- Assists in scheduling/coordinating meetings and other Provider Leadership gatherings based on shared calender availability and blocking scheduled appropriately
- Assisting in scheduling students/shadows with appropriate precepting providers alongside education leaders
- Manage CME certificates
- Submit reimbursement for CME request to Accounts Payable
- Assist in coordinating/scheduling provider students
- Assisting with hosting/scheduling/coordinating schedules for biweekly provider education sessions
- Assist in maintaining record/database for Provider chart reviews, annual reviews and QA/QI fallout charts in a centralized place
- Assisting with coordinating?scheduling MA front desk students
- Assist with VFC reminders for clinic supervisors
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative experience
- Prior medical administrative experience preferred
- Proficient with various computer applications
