Position Summary
The BEAR Life program is seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, well organized, and professional student employee who possesses superior verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work during fall, spring, and summer terms. Peer Guides will support BEAR Life students through one on one Success Coaching. Flexible hours and independent work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create content for BEAR Life Social Media platforms
  • Attend Campus events to take photos and videos
  • Work with BEAR Life participants one on one
  • Create and Manage BEAR Life events
  • Recruit incoming students to participate in BEAR Life
  • Represent BEAR Life at UCA events
  • Keep Bear Burrow presentable/stocked
  • perform some in office clerical duties
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient Critical Thinking/Problem Solving skills
  • Effective oral and written Communication Skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with common goals as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrate effective use of Social Media and Digital Technology
  • Demonstrate professionalism and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Required:
  • Must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Central Arkansas.
