Job Summary:


The Outreach Vaccine Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Vaccine Grant program which includes its planning, coordinating, and monitoring.

This is a full-time Grant-funded program with funding approved through December 2024.


This position does require travel between Pasco and Pinellas County.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct point of contact for community grantees to ensure the deliverables of the Vaccine Grant program are fulfilled.
  • Meets with community grantees regularly, including site visits to provide technical assistance as needed and provides regular reviews of deliverables, successes, and challenges.
  • Ensures that best practices are created and shared among grantees.
  • Assists grantees with identifying new community resources.
  • Responsible for outreach about the program to ensure that as many seniors, adults with disabilities, and caregivers are aware of the program and how to access it.
  • Responsible to receive and review monthly program reports from grantees.
  • Responsible to receive, review and approve monthly invoices from grantees and works with Finance to ensure fiscal compliance with the grant.
  • Prepares monthly statistics and reports of services provided internally and to the funder.
  • Attends funder-required meetings and Office Hours to represent the program, learn from others and share best practices.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials to present on the program to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintains relationships with existing partners and cultivates new ones.
  • Ability to work independently and to set and track personal performance goals to efficiently manage workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Must comply with all security and confidentiality regulations.
  • Must be highly organized and exhibit fine attention to detail.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Gerontology, Public Health and communications preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of experience performing human services-related work.

• And at least 2 or 3 years of experience managing programs and staff.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to learn and use multiple data systems with accurate data entry and keyboarding.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and organize tasks effectively.

• Ability to develop effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, professionals, and community vendors.

• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the elderly, clients, caregivers, community groups, and others including staff members.

• Public speaking experience preferred.

• Previous community outreach experience preferred.

• Experience or interest in public communications, especially as relates to social media, website design, and public speaking preferred.

Special Requirements:

• Must pass Level II criminal background screening.

• Current Florida driver’s license and auto insurance with access to reliable transportation.

• Travel will be required.

• Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.

• Multiple work locations including office and community settings.

• Grant-funded program with funding approved through December 2024.
