About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Program/Management Analyst. The successful candidate will provide management support to the United States Coast Guard Aviation Production Planning Programs. If you are ready for a rewarding opportunity, we invite you to apply and become a part of our team.

This is a Full-Time on-site position at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Training/Program Analyst support
  • Plan, develop, and conduct liaison support for all Coast Guard Aviation Production Planning (CGAPP) Programs, including introductory, primary, rotary, and fixed-wing flight training
  • Provide expertise in mathematical and experimental design analysis, statistical analysis, operations, and training research methods to ensure program success
  • Identify CGAPP issues and coordinating requirements, schedules, and program development recommendations
  • Determine resource requirements and allocate resources across training sites.
  • Seek ways to improve administration, management processes, and mission quality through best practices
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and develop new assessment methods for program effectiveness
  • Provide Performance Evaluation and Curriculum Management as the Student Control Lead
  • Provide Performance Management support in a timely, complete, and accurate fashion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPCM, PMP) is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in providing programmatic analysis and management analysis in a military setting, particularly as related to aviation; experience must include designing student production plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of CNATRA/NATRACOM and CGLO flight training missions, operations, products, services, and goals.
  • Understanding of CNATRAINST 1500.4 (Student Naval Aviator Training and Administration Manual) and related policies, procedures, directives, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and identify problems
  • Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of flight training programs and student control processes
  • Experience developing and evaluating new or modified program objectives and operations
  • Understanding of aviation training program management policies and principles to analyze and recommend improvements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Coast Guard and Navy programming, budgeting, and planning tools, including CGAPP manpower requirements and TSHARP
  • Experience acquiring and applying knowledge of CG directives and policies related to training management
  • Experience using analytical, statistical, accounting, and economic principles to address program problems and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms to present recommendations, reports, and proposals
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with peers, supervisors, and senior leadership
