We are seeking a proficient Computer Systems Analyst (CSA) to deliver data file management and interfacing support for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and proprietary government financial systems. The CSA will assist financial management stakeholders in accounting operations, budget execution, audit oversight, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Act as a SQL Server database administrator, overseeing multiple databases and ensuring their maintenance.
- Execute mid-month and monthly financial procedures to prepare Allocation Data, Accruals, Cost Transfers, and Chargeback for processing, as well as generate Invoices for user access.
- Monitor daily jobs that extract incremental or full Oracle table data to SSMS tables, and perform reconciliation of record discrepancies in related tables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in daily jobs and reports, ensuring data integrity, reliability, consistency, and timeliness.
- Implement modifications in SSMS database tables, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and saved SQL scripts for data management tasks.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to test database servers and applications post-system patches.
- Review system documentation, security settings, logs, and existing practices to ensure compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and maintain audit readiness.
- Update STIG vulnerability details on applications to close tasks and provide insights for open findings to mitigate security risks.
- Stay informed on best technical practices and recommendations, including obtaining the CompTIA Security + Certification and completing required training promptly.
- Advise stakeholders on improvement opportunities for solutions that enhance accuracy, productivity, and system efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation or knowledge bases for personal reference and to ensure operational continuity in the absence of a supporting role.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, business, or related fields.
- Two to five years of relevant experience in computer systems analytics, system administration, or configuration management.
- Experience with government information systems and databases.
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, Jira, SQL, Visio, and Oracle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five to eight years of relevant experience in computer systems analytics, system administration, or configuration management.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility.
- Prior experience supporting DoD or Federal government agencies.
- Possession of CDMP, CompTIA Security+, or other IT certifications.
- Preference for military or veteran candidates.
The preferred work location is within the Pensacola, FL Metropolitan Area, with a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days per week onsite) and potential for occasional travel to client headquarters.
