We are seeking a dedicated Research Program Coordinator to support our initiatives focused on health disparities, aging research, and diversifying the scientific workforce. This role involves evaluating scientific programs, coordinating project activities, and contributing to innovative collaborations and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, translate, and disseminate literature and research information into user-friendly tools.
  • Contribute to updating the Health Disparities Research Framework.
  • Compose professional correspondences effectively, clearly, and concisely.
  • Research and evaluate the operation of scientific programs.
  • Conduct literature searches and manage references using bibliographic software.
  • Prepare scientific and programmatic presentation materials.
  • Perform logistical planning for scientific meetings, conference calls, and special projects.
  • Represent the program at local and national meetings, delivering presentations and posters.
  • Provide project management support for large and/or complex projects.
  • Coordinate with strategic project leaders on logistical aspects of meetings and reviews.
  • Maintain proactive communication with key personnel and gather relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Community and Public Health or related field.
  • Certification in Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Human Subjects Research.
  • Proficiency in writing, report preparation, strategic planning, and scientific literature review.
  • Strong skills in using SPSS, Microsoft Word, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in coordinating various tasks.
