Position Overview: After School Program Facilitator

- Lead engaging and enjoyable science classes and workshops for elementary school students (grades K-6) without needing a science background.
- Receive comprehensive training through video resources and hands-on sessions, ensuring you are well-prepared with easy-to-follow curriculum notes.
- Our flexible afternoon programs fit into busy schedules, with one-hour classes typically scheduled between 3:00 and 6:00 pm.
- Opportunities available across various locations.
- Make a positive impact while enjoying a role you will look forward to each day.
- After completing training, you will deliver interactive and enjoyable after-school classes to elementary-aged children.
- Conduct a variety of exciting hands-on experiments and activities in each session.
- All necessary teaching materials, including program content, supplies, take-home projects, and a distinctive Mad Science t-shirt, will be provided.
- Hours are limited, as most instructors typically conduct one or two classes each day.
- $75 per class taught (competitive pay for after-school program instructors).
- A genuine enjoyment and experience working with elementary-aged children.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
- Reliable personal transportation is essential.
