The US base salary for this full-time role is $25-36/hr plus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is influenced by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Key Responsibilities

The analyst will assist with a time-sensitive policy analysis likely focused on artificial intelligence or another emerging policy topic relevant to the organization's mission and programs. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director for Policy Development, the analyst will conduct an environmental scan of existing policies and practices at relevant organizations, perform literature reviews, and engage with stakeholders. The analyst will identify policy needs and gaps and contribute to the development of pertinent policy frameworks.

Specific duties include:

  • Providing technical expertise and support in the development and evaluation of the fellowship program, establishing processes and maintaining documentation.
  • Generating detailed reports for upper management.
  • Evaluating, developing, and implementing the fellowship program, including maintaining documentation and recommending process improvements.
  • Analyzing and developing new recruitment processes and various training programs.
  • Promoting the fellowship program to educational institutions and potential candidates.
  • Conducting meetings and training staff on various aspects of the fellowship program.
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in developing summaries, briefs, or presentations, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
