Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary (Essential Functions): Repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment, items, and building-related issues owned by the Club.

Qualifications: Excellent physical condition; maintenance experience at a large building with solid professional references. Candidates must have working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc. This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, and able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.

Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Arrange for the purchase and procurement of parts and items needed for maintenance, completion of work orders, and general department supplies
  • Control key systems.
  • Maintain an ongoing energy management program for the property's HVAC and lighting systems
  • Ensure proper maintenance of areas and equipment for aesthetic and functional purposes
  • Maintain appropriate records for each piece of equipment and each area of the Club
  • Ensure Club compliance with all applicable laws and rules including fire protection, security, handicap, etc.
  • Ensure safety in all areas of the Club to protect members, guests, and employees
  • Coordinate with Event Coordinator and Clubhouse Manager to assure proper operation of all club events and banquet functions
  • Coordinate with all department heads as to repair and maintenance needs, housekeeping services, and safety
  • Assist the Maintenance Director with the Club's ongoing preventative maintenance program
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Director and or his/her designee
