Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician position at FedUp Foods is a critical role that requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform preventative maintenance and respond to facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks on facility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Team Leadership: Work with production leadership to improve equipment and system reliability and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training and developing junior maintenance technicians.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3 years of maintenance experience in a food or beverage manufacturing facility or similar environment.
  • Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; fabrication skills; and experience with industrial refrigeration.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs; ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete floors.
