Wurzak Hotel Group is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Marriott award winning recently renovated Sheraton Hotel in Reston, VA. The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the hotel. This role involves strategic planning, policy development, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, Marriott brand experience, with a focus on partnering with business leaders to drive outstanding employee experiences and organizational success.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster positive employee relations and address employee concerns.
  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain a healthy work environment.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee skills and career growth.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems.

Culture Development:

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the company's culture.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit offerings.

Employee Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication between employees and management.
  • Implement communication strategies to keep employees informed.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations.
