The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

  1. Schedule appointments.
  2. Greet and assist onsite patients, complete check-in paperwork, check-outs, and data entry with enthusiasm, patience, and kindness.
  3. Answer multi-line inbound telephone calls.
  4. Appointment confirmations daily.
  5. Fielding insurance questions and routing to appropriate channels.
  6. Hearing aid check-ins, handling of repairs, hearing aid trouble-shooting, and cleaning (can be trained on this).
  7. Perform all other office tasks, as indicated and with necessary training provided (any office related needs such as stocking supplies, assisting other office personnel, etc.).
  8. Assist in mailing birthday cards and out of warranty letters.

To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  1. Previous experience in office administration or other related fields (preferred).
  2. Previous experience with insurance claims would be ideal
  3. Enthusiastic attitude and ability to greet all individuals with a smile in person and on the phone.
  4. Ability to prioritize and multitask is crucial
  5. Must be a problem-solver.
  6. Candidate should be highly coachable and someone is motivated and who loves to learn new things (the world of hearing healthcare--it is worth it).
  7. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a motivated worker who is pro-active in their approach to their daily tasks.
  9. Computer proficiency.

We offer a competitive hourly rate and bonus potential, Healthcare, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays after 90 days and a 401K plan after a year. The hours are Monday – Friday – 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
