We are looking for a hands-on Project Coordinator, Inside Project Manager, or Estimator to manage our bids and proposals. Are you detail-oriented, decisive, adaptable, and good at negotiating? Do you have experience developing bids for major national clients? At Impact, we work together as a team to make the customers’ projects a reality, and you can be a part of this quickly-growing team.


A huge plus if you have prior experience obtaining building/construction permits

Candidates must have technical skills and will be expected to contribute right away.


Responsibilities

•Review RFPs / requirements for contract mods / new contracts

•Lead internal estimating effort on standard spreadsheet integrating with ERP

•Develop proposal (Technical / Commercial response)

•Negotiate / discuss proposals with clients and make updates

•Review orders and hold kickoff meetings for operations and accounting

•Commercial communications with key clients (phone, text, chime, email)

•Job costing reviews with Project Manager / General Manager

Requirements:

•B.S. or B.A. in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university – OR – equivalent work experience.

•Minimum of 3-5 years of Project Management experience – OR – related technical experience.

•Knowledgeable about conveyors and industrial equipment.

Experience obtaining construction permits is a PLUS

•Must have good business sense and able to build basic spreadsheets for estimates.

•Must possess the financial sense and ability to analyze if projects are over/under budget.

•Effective communication skills (verbal and written) both internally and with customers

•Ability to build strong relationships with engineering groups, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

•Must be detailed oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

•Must be a self-managed individual who is a team player.

All candidates must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lb boxes. A track record of success is required - advanced degrees are not.
