Job Summary

This position is to promote Southwest Construction Services and sell our Waterproofing services while providing the upmost customer satisfaction. 

 

Job Duties

  • Develop prospect lists and geographically organizing prospects.
  • Able to take calls to facilitate appointments, call prospects and customers, close sales, proposal preparation, and follow ups.
  • Attend weekly meetings [6 face-to-face, 20 proposal follow ups, 3-5 requests for proposals (RFPs)]
  • Schedule meetings with customers.
  • Assist the production, estimating, and accounting departments as necessary for sold projects (ie. management, contracts, change orders, collections, etc.).
  • Attend company functions when required (out of town, evening, early morning, weekend, overnight stays, etc.).
  • Build relationships with customers (ie. breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hours, etc.) - expenses to be reimbursed twice a month after approval from VP.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage ongoing projects, budget setups, overseeing work, ASIs, RFIs, change orders, weekly job-site meetings, etc.
  • Assist other departments as necessary on sold projects.
  • Attend any training provided or furnished trainings by the company.

 

Job Requirements

  • Building envelope experience
  • Develop and maintain client/vendor relationships
  • Job site visits and attend pre construction/ pre installation meetings
  • Conflict resolution skills

 

Preferred Skills & Background

  • 3+ years of Sales/Construction Industry Experience preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Navigate takeoff software preferred
