Regional Sales Analyst

Overview:
The Regional Sales Administrator position will provide sales and marketing support to the regional team.
Interfaces:
- Position will report to the Regional Vice President.
- Position will interface with (internal and external)
- Internal - Marketing, technical operations, operations, Paragon, technical coworkers, and upper management
- External - Owner agencies, consulting engineers, contractors, suppliers of materials for products, universities, and industry associations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for distribution across the Sales and Marketing team.
- Create and maintain dashboard of key sales metrics including sales volumes and margins, transportation costs, top customer analysis, product margin and volume reporting, year over year analysis and inventory layer runouts.
- Create, maintain and track bids across the east region.
- Coordinate posting communication with internal and external touch points.
- Develop and maintain monthly pricing matrix, including internal pricing to customers, competition pricing and index postings.
- Maintain dashboard on commodity and specialty product sales versus budget and forecast
- Develop, maintain and distribute reports on market competition.
- Help resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Assist the Ergon's Technical Marketing Manager to identify, coordinate, participate, and support the establishing and maintaining of relationships with key state, district, and local specifying agencies' personnel.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assist with compiling and communicate forecasting and current status on volume.
- Take lead on pricing adjustment inputs
- Additional expectations for specific responsibility listed above:
- Assist at technical trade shows and conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree specific to marketing or business preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Experience in construction, transportation, energy or government markets preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn proprietary software programs as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and able to bend, stoop and kneel as needed.
- Able to wear proper PPE when required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Requires working in office conditions, performing some clerical work, working periodically outside in a manufacturing plant environment, with and around operational process equipment in temperature extremes for periods of time.
- Occasional overnight travel will be required. No more than 15%
