WAGE RANGE: $19.60-$22.80/hour

JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a child-centered, fun-loving, dynamic, detail-orientated, and self-motivated individual who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to serve as an Administrative Assistant at its Northside Child Development Center.

This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks, which may include contact management, scheduling, reporting and tracking information for a manager. They will prepare simple analyses of information or data, and checks and follow up as required. They will make interpretation and recommendations, review and answer correspondence, coordinate collection and preparation of operating reports.

They will perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scheduling, opening mail, and may develop appropriate methods to handle information. They may also provide receptionist duties, greeting clients and visitors, and directing individuals to the appropriate party.

This position will work with confidential information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:

  1. Provide administrative support for program managers and staff as needed, including computer work, copying, and/or other office tasks as assigned.
  2. Performs data entry using word processing, spreadsheet or database commands and formats material as required.
  3. Responsible for promptly and accurately collecting, entering, managing and reporting of client data into systems of record.
  4. Typically performs receptionist duties including taking messages and routing calls, as appropriate.
  5. Gather, maintain and share knowledge: technical, organization and community resources.
  6. Assist in maintaining statistical and other data in specific systems to support and facilitate required reporting.
  7. May process invoices and other department-specific documents.
  8. Perform research, analysis and interpretation of data, as requested.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
