Overview


HailSolve is a tech-enabled, B2B Risk Management and Restoration firm. Over the last 15 years, HailSolve has created a sophisticated business, establishing itself as a market leader within the commercial hail damage niche. The founder-led team has organically grown HailSolve through sales & profits to annual revenues of $30m+, leaving the company debt-free with a head count of ~20 full-time employees and a network of strategic vendor partners.


We’ve got the business figured out — it's time to operationalize it and grow. We are looking for a world-class operations leader with exceptional technological and human capital acumen to work alongside a Chief Revenue Officer and our CEO. The COO will be responsible for all day-to-day activities and play a pivotal role in our transition from bootstrapped and profitable to a digitally savvy, operationalized, and scalable organization. 


The candidate should be best-in-class with human capital management and exceptional at analyzing whether technology or human capital are the best deployment of financial resources. The scope of activities within the business ranges from complex insurance relations, to extensive construction projects and robust technological systems — not including back-of-house administrative functions. 


The ideal candidate is a very seasoned, analytical, and versatile individual who will hone, energize, and expand our teams, processes, and technology to meet rising demand, exceed customer expectations, and ensure our core business is protected, profitable, and able to scale. 



Responsibilities 


  • Direct Responsibility for day-to-day operations and service delivery execution of Risk Management and Restoration Services, Finance, Business Process, Planning, Analytics, Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Technology, and IT


  • Direct the strategic design, acquisition, management, and implementation of an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure and its integration/health across all departments, products, and client experiences. 


  • Actively engage with the CEO, Chief Revenue Officer, and Board of Directors to accomplish corporate goals and develop effective budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation programs. 


  • Own HailSolve’s human capital and employee management, including determining the ideal splits between internal employees, external vendors, and technology & encouraging employees at all levels as one of HailSolve’s key leaders. 


  • Direct the development of the organization's operational capacity that will produce sustainable growth and minimize risk.


  • Deploy executive leadership in various areas, including operational efficiency, occupational health and safety, governance and compliance, and operational policy development.


  • Oversee data architecture and purchasing to enable access to quality data by processing both structured and unstructured data sources.
