Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Early Childhood Substitute Teacher
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
STATUS: Full Time
PURPOSE:
The Early Childhood Substitute Teacher is responsible for assisting staff by providing a safe and inclusive educational setting for all children.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Assist teachers with creating and implementing curriculum.
- Actively participate in parent engagement opportunities.
- Ensure the safety of all children at all times.
- Attend all meetings and trainings as required.
- Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older. (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
- Driver’s license (Required)
- Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate
