Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Infant and Toddler Teacher DIVISION: Education

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

STATUS: Full- Time

PURPOSE:

The Infant and Toddler Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and inclusive educational setting for all children. This includes supporting families and encouraging family engagement.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Create and implement curriculum that is developmentally appropriate.
  • Mentor and encourage assistants, substitutes, and volunteers.
  • Ensure the safety of all children at all times.
  • Actively participate in parent engagement opportunities.
  • Serve as a positive influence through behaviors, attitudes, and actions.
  • Maintain great communication and professional relationships with students, family members and co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Must be at least 21 years of age
  2. Infant and Toddler CDA or an equivalent of a CDA (12 credit hours in ECE) (Required)
  3. Associates or Bachelors in ECE or a related field (Preferred)
  4. Driver’s license (Required)
  5. Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate
