Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapy Early Childhood Specialist to join our team at Developmental Services, Inc. - Kokomo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing special instruction that promotes the child's development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to create and implement Family Service Plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for home visits to ensure timely and effective support for our clients.
  • Accurately record and track patient treatments, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
  • Serve as a positive influence through your behaviors, attitudes, and actions, setting a high standard for our team.
  • Maintain excellent communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in early childhood or special education with an early childhood focus.
  2. Related degrees in child development, including certified Child Life Specialists, early intervention, or nursing (MSN with a pediatric major), and completion of thirty (30) hours of academic child development coursework may also be considered.
  3. Driver's license (preferred).
  4. Excellent communication, dependability, and compassion are essential qualities for this role.
