Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapy Early Childhood Specialist to join our team at Developmental Services, Inc. - Kokomo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing special instruction that promotes the child's development skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to create and implement Family Service Plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for home visits to ensure timely and effective support for our clients.
- Accurately record and track patient treatments, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
- Serve as a positive influence through your behaviors, attitudes, and actions, setting a high standard for our team.
- Maintain excellent communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in early childhood or special education with an early childhood focus.
- Related degrees in child development, including certified Child Life Specialists, early intervention, or nursing (MSN with a pediatric major), and completion of thirty (30) hours of academic child development coursework may also be considered.
- Driver's license (preferred).
- Excellent communication, dependability, and compassion are essential qualities for this role.
