This is a hands-on role based anywhere in the US. You will be the company's 2nd hire in the US and will work as a team of 1 building a sales pipeline. The company will be hiring additional staff and investing in the business over the rest of '24 but we are looking for someone interested in coming in and rolling their sleeves up in an entrepreneurial startup environment.

Our client is Pre-Series A startup leader in pioneering quantum-safe encryption technologies. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven sales leader to spearhead our sales efforts and drive growth in the rapidly evolving quantum encryption and solutions market.

They are one of a few firms in the world developing solutions around quantum-safe encryption technology so if you are interested in leaving commodity sales behind and skilled in navigating complex sales cycles in a high-tech environment we would love to speak to you

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure a deep understanding of product offerings and their advantages.
  • Educate customers on the importance of quantum-safe encryption in protecting their data against emerging threats.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive demand through campaign development, customer resources, and other marketing events.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Align cross-functional teams and resources to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Cybersecurity expertise. The ability to have high-level discussions with leaders about Cybersecurity concerns.
  • Experience with SaaS/PaaS services
  • Experience with large enterprises in Financial / Healthcare / Telecom / Government domains
  • Quantum cryptography expertise/understanding is a bonus but not required.
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong project management skills, with a commitment to being highly organized and a determination to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • An innovative mindset
  • Ability to travel 50%+
