Position Summary: The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing the internal and external brand awareness of the JBK Group's family of companies, including Event Source, Panache Events, and So Cool Events. In collaboration with leadership, this individual contributes to driving sales and enhancing the overall client experience. This position is integral to our growth plans, providing strategic marketing leadership with a focus on digital marketing, social media, campaigns, website management, budgeting, brand building, and project management.

Reports to: Director of Sales

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Conducts interviews, hires, and trains department staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow, providing constructive performance evaluations.
  • Manages discipline and termination following company policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and directs company marketing strategy.
  • Analyzes rental market trends, understands customer motivations, and recommends relevant campaigns.
  • Provides research, analytics, and measurements for marketing efforts.
  • Creates and maintains a yearly marketing plan and budget.
  • Refines, oversees, and manages all company brands.
  • Inventories marketing collateral and establishes brand collateral.
  • Designs, executes, and oversees digital marketing programs.
  • Leads website development and campaigns.
  • Manages contracted partners and oversees company advertising.
  • Writes copy for marketing materials, awards, and press releases.
  • Owns and manages award submissions.
  • Creates, manages, and distributes marketing material for sales staff.
  • Partners with Purchasing for new rental product rollouts.
  • Sets objectives for the marketing teams weekly meetings.
  • Negotiates costs for marketing-related services.
  • Collaborates with regional Market Managers for regional marketing needs.
  • Manages all media buying.
  • Serves as trade show and PR manager.
  • Directs and implements advertising and promotional activities.
  • Analyzes target market information and recommends effective marketing approaches.
  • Identifies new market segments for company products.
  • Prepares advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging products and services.
  • Collaborates with senior executives on growth plans.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Regular travel to our outer markets is required.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of marketing and long-range planning experience.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Internet software, Mac OS, Microsoft Remote Desktop, Microsoft Outlook, and Calendar programs.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Creative talent demonstrated through portfolio.
  • Completion of Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index.
  • Successful completion of company background check and drug screen.
