We have 1 full-time Client Service Specialist (CSS) opportunity in our Coppell, Texas office. We are expanding our team and leveling up our Consultant and Client support processes across all service lines. We are specifically looking for candidates that have advanced Microsoft Word experience and expertise, and the ability to work in Excel. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), and work hours will be during the normal workday. We offer competitive wages and benefits package.

Position Summary

The Client Service Specialist (CSS) provides general support to our consultants as appropriate. They are responsible for project coordination and supporting project execution, for creating, formatting and producing documents and reports within DickersonBakker specifications and to brand guidelines, for assisting with surveys, spreadsheets, gathering and analyzing data, to name a few things. Ultimately, the CSS will provide the assistance needed to effectively support the Consultant, providing efficiency and the consistency needed to produce excellence of service with each Client engagement.

CLIENT SERVICE SPECIALIST I - emphasis on document creation.
The Job Qualifications of the positions are:EXPERIENCE:
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be an expert power-user in Microsoft Word. Microsoft Excel and Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Able to perform such functions as: Creating text documents; Editing and formatting existing documents; Comparing and merging documents; Creating forms using fields and advanced tools; Creating and using templates; Sharing and protecting documents; Tracking changes; Creating labels; Formatting tables; Making a text document interactive with different features and tools; Graphical documents, comprising images; Convert a List to a Table; Convert a bulleted list to SmartArt; Create a Custom Tab; Add Placeholder Text
  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Administrative / clerical assistance experience or similar is a plus
  • Project coordination and timeline management experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS / ABILITIES:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SurveyMonkey, Hubspot, DonorSearch, Adobe Suite, Creative Cloud, or other similar platforms
  • General knowledge of IT and understanding of clerical procedures, platforms and systems
  • Must be “tech-savvy” with highly proficient computer skills (especially MS Word and Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects with multiple deadlines
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES (but not be limited to): General:
  • General service support to assigned consultants
  • Project management and coordination for assigned client contracts
  • Additional duties as assigned
Specific:
  • Provide standardized, customized, and personalized documents sets to the consultant in accordance with the project timeline
  • Support and assist assigned consultants to ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Monitor the progress of projects and communicate with team members as needed to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Format or reformat documents
  • Prepare, print, and bind various reports as needed
  • Assist with Proposal creation as needed
