Key Responsibilities:
The Collector will facilitate the establishment of payment arrangements, document account discrepancies, and/or reinstate services for clients.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to listen and provide solutions to dissatisfied clients
- Represent our clients with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceeding expectations
- Adhere to collection laws, protocols, and procedures
- Identify and escalate urgent matters to management
- Accurately document and process call transactions
- Stay informed on system updates, collection law changes, and training
- Effectively manage call duration to meet performance targets
Qualifications:
- Exceptional phone communication skills with a clear and professional speaking style
- Experience in debt collection, call center operations, or soft sales is advantageous
- Friendly and positive demeanor in challenging situations
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with >85% accuracy
