As Program Manager, you will oversee and manage a team of IT consultants to ensure the effective implementation and compliance of cybersecurity measures across enterprise IT systems, cloud environments, and network security. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and direct communication with customers to report findings and recommendations. Your expertise will drive the organization's efforts to protect sensitive data and enhance its overall cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Leadership:

    • Lead and manage cybersecurity risk management programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop strategic plans and objectives for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of risk management needs.

  2. Team Management:

    • Supervise and mentor a team of IT consultants.
    • Facilitate collaboration and communication within the team to enhance productivity and achieve program objectives.

  3. Project Management:

    • Utilize extensive project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor program tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to high standards of quality and compliance.

  4. Risk Management:

    • Oversee the development and implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks.

  5. Customer Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, communicating findings, progress, and recommendations effectively.
    • Conduct assessment interviews, debriefings, and exit meetings with stakeholders to ensure transparency and address any concerns.

  6. Policy Compliance & Implementation:

    • Ensure all customer systems comply with departmental policies and regulatory requirements, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PII/PHI/Sensitive data.

  7. Technical Expertise:

    • Provide hands-on cybersecurity expertise, supporting the team in technical tasks and ensuring best practices for network security and cloud systems.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and network security to provide informed leadership and guidance.

  8. Training & Development:

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Program Manager for cybersecurity risk management programs.
  • PMP, CISSP, and ITIL certifications required.
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field required.
  • Experience with enterprise IT systems, cloud systems and network security. Ability to manage a team of IT consultants and communicate findings with customers. 
  • Extensive knowledge of project management tasks within the network security sector 
  • Skills in all facets of management complex programs (i.e., Leadership, Technical Expertise, Effective Communications, Hands-On Cybersecurity experience, Collaboration skills, and experience working under pressure in highly dynamic and fast paced environments)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cloud-based or other network-related certification(s).

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

*This position is contingent upon future contract award to Gunnison.
