Kaimetrix (KMX) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager (PM) to join our team. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of overseeing the development and implementation of complex IT projects from concept to final delivery. The Program Manager will serve as the main point of contact for the contractor and be responsible for ensuring project success, adhering to quality standards, and providing strategic guidance to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contractor-related matters and overall project performance.
  • Manage all aspects of project development and implementation, from initial concept through final execution.
  • Interface with all stakeholders, including end users, computer services, and client services, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with client expectations and organizational goals.
  • Develop detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and progress tracking across all project phases.
  • Oversee project tracking and analysis, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks, tracking progress and reviewing vendor deliverables to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Provide strategic, technical, and analytical guidance to the project team, ensuring effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Advise senior leadership on IT strategic initiatives, leveraging extensive experience in IT program management.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in IT Management, Program/Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in IT program management, with a proven track record of delivering technology solutions.
    • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Certifications:
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
    • PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in managing vendor relationships and integrating vendor deliverables into overall project plans.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to guide teams through complex challenges.


Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid - In-office presence required for meetings)
