The Small Satellite Program Manager will oversee the User Terminal Program, collaborating with external technology vendors to provide innovative user terminal solutions tailored for diverse market segments.

This role demands extensive program management expertise, particularly in the development of satellite user terminal technologies, as well as experience in the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of satellite user terminal products, alongside business development and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and execute multiple vendor programs, managing scope, contracts, work breakdown structures, executive reporting, requirements, and budget.
  • Oversee user programs, including the management of flat panel antennas.
  • Collaborate with product, program, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Engage with engineering, legal, and contracts teams in partnership with selected vendors.
  • Facilitate vendor development by preparing program inputs, addressing challenges, and formulating forward plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on communication or satellite terminals.
  • Prior experience in Satellite Communications is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar tools (e.g., Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, Jira).
  • Familiarity with modem, RF, electronics, and antenna technologies.
  • Experience working with external vendors, including design and manufacturing partners.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Manage suppliers and contractors during supplier-facing activities.

Work Environment:

  • This position offers a full-time office or hybrid work model, with a balance of office and remote work.
  • Occasional travel may be required, including international travel.

Compensation:

Base salary ranges from $125K to $150K, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits and bonus opportunities.
