Picnic is growing and we want you to join our mission to keep people and enterprises safe. We are looking for a highly capable sales professional to join our team as our first Account Executive. This role has not only tremendous financial upside, but also the potential to develop into a sales leader in the organization, if that is of interest.
You will work directly with our CEO, experienced BDR, and Sales Engineering teams to identify target accounts, craft outbound campaigns, and close deals. We have more opportunities than we have pipeline coverage – this is an “all you can eat” buffet of sales awesomeness. This role will report directly to the CEO.
We are a remote-first company and are open to candidates throughout the United States. This position requires travel. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What you will do in the Account Executive role:
- Understand Picnic’s product offering, value proposition, and the competitive landscape
- Build, grow and close new recurring revenue opportunities in target customers
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for recurring revenue
- Maintain Salesforce as the system of record
- Turn consistent prospecting into potential customers
- Be knowledgeable about the cybersecurity partner ecosystem and how Picnic can partner
Characteristics we are looking for in a candidate include (need to have):
- Five years in quota carrying software sales roles
- Two years of sales experience in cyber security selling to CISO and related roles
- Ability to run the full-cycle of a transaction from prospect to closed-won, including:
- Building a territory plan for demand generation and deal closure
- Communicating the value of Picnic to both technical and business leaders
- Collaborating with prospects to write business cases that help close deals
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience utilizing Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accounts
Characteristics we are looking for in a candidate include (nice to have):
- Experience selling managed services
- Experience working with channel partners to both find and close business opportunities
- Experience working at a startup
- Experience working as a Business Development Representative (BDR)
Compensation:
OTE: $200-300k split between base salary and variable compensation, depending on experience
