Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a Cookie Program/Product Coordinator a to join our team The Coordinator is responsible for managing all components of our annual Girl Scout Cookie and Fall Product Programs. Our product programs annually offer more than 28,000 girls in our council the opportunity to become entrepreneurs, leading their own product programs and marketing efforts to reach their goals and raise money for their local troops Supporting our signature product programs – the Coordinator recruits and provides daily coordination and support for the community/troop volunteers and community partners, and manages cookie distribution and regional data to monitor and improve results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Implementing the Fall Product and Girl Scout Cookie Programs to achieve council program revenue goals.
  • Managing Program strategies to increase girl engagement and participation.
  • Managing logistics and communication to the regional distribution sites to support troops, including recruiting, and managing volunteers that enable the Programs to be dispersed to the troops.
  • Cultivating key community contacts to secure cookie booth setup locations.
  • Provide input to the development of council product program assessment and planning.
  • Monitor and track product inventory levels, progress and performance, and coordinate with Cookie and Fall Product vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Communicate progress reports to the Product Program team and other internal departments.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise through the program cycle.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. The days of work are primarily Monday through Friday. Work schedules and hours of work will vary, depending on support required by active program and time of year. Position requires regular evening and occasional weekend work.

TRAVEL
This is an “in the field” position requiring regular travel to assigned geographic areas of the council.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of one year experience customer-focused project/product/program management; including forecasting, plannings, product logistics.
  • Ability to work frequent evening hours and weekends.
  • Ability to manage relationships with volunteers and community partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Personal transportation, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
