Job Summary

The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding our network of channel partners to drive sales and increase market share. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of indirect sales channels, partner management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel sales and a deep understanding of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Partner Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement channel sales strategies that align with overall company goals.
Business Development: Identify and recruit new channel partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and target markets.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse partner performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. Implement corrective actions when necessary to meet sales targets.
Training and Support: Provide training, tools, and support to channel partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell and support our products.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through channel partners by identifying new sales opportunities, managing pipeline, and ensuring timely closing of deals.
Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of company products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to partners and customers.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise between channel partners and the company, ensuring a positive and productive relationship.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or a similar role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partner networks.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

Salary Range: $260K - $300K (OTE) + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
