NeuMed is a leading provider of Urgent Care and IV therapy services, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We are expanding our service offerings and are seeking an experienced consultant to assist in the initiation of a new medical infusion service under a newly established entity.


Position Summary:


We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Medical Infusion Service Consultant to guide NeuMed in the planning, development, and implementation of a medical infusion service. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, infusion therapy services, regulatory compliance, and business development. The consultant will work closely with the executive team to ensure the successful launch and operational sustainability of the new service line.


Key Responsibilities:


-Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive business plan for the medical infusion service, including market analysis, service offerings, pricing strategy, and financial projections.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all aspects of the infusion service comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide guidance on obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.

- Operational Setup: Assist in the selection and setup of equipment, supplies, and technology needed for the infusion service. Advise on best practices for insurance credentialing, clinical operations, patient flow, and safety protocols.

- Staffing and Training: Develop and implement training programs for clinical and administrative staff — currently staffed with NPs with MDs supervising.

- Vendor and Supplier Management: Identify and negotiate with vendors for the procurement of necessary infusion products, medications, and equipment.

- Marketing and Business Development:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting the infusion service to target markets, including partnerships with healthcare providers and referral sources.

- Financial Management: Advise on budgeting, pricing models, and cost control measures to ensure the financial viability of the infusion service.

- Quality Assurance: Establish quality assurance and improvement protocols to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.

- Project Management: Lead the project from initiation through to successful launch, ensuring that timelines are met and objectives are achieved.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master's preferred).

- ~ 5 years of experience in a healthcare consulting role, with specific expertise in infusion therapy services.

- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for medical infusion services.

- Strong understanding of healthcare business operations, including financial management, staffing, and vendor relations.

- Proven track record of successfully launching or managing similar healthcare service lines.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience working with urgent care centers or outpatient infusion clinics.

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare technology.

- Previous experience in a start-up environment or in launching new healthcare services.

Compensation:


This is a contract/consultant position with competitive compensation based on experience and project scope.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $25.00 - $40.00/hour.
