Are you ready to transition from traditional bedside nursing? Our home infusion nurses provide personalized care to specialty infusion patients in a one-on-one setting.

We compensate for travel time at your nursing rate and reimburse all mileage incurred during patient visits.

Medications You Will Administer:

  • Immunoglobulin Therapy
  • IV Antibiotics
  • Enteral and Total Parenteral Nutrition
  • Anti-inflammatory Biologics
  • Inotropes
  • Clotting Factor and other specialty medications
Key Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.

  • Comply with policies and procedures related to infusion nursing services, pharmacy services, and applicable state regulations
  • Follow INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, and the ethical code as defined by the American Nurses Association
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients to establish and monitor therapeutic goals
  • Conduct assessments for all assigned patients and develop a comprehensive Plan of Care
  • Manage vascular access devices, including the insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified)
  • Provide education to patients and their caregivers
  • Evaluate patient progress towards goals and recommend adjustments to the Plan of Care as necessary
  • Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies as required
Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Valid nursing license in the state(s) of practice
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Preferred experience in infusion and home healthcare
  • Extensive background in IV therapy preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Flexible schedule with availability for various shift models
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must meet company standards for driving record and age requirements
