Key Responsibilities

The essential functions of the Wellness Retreat Manager position are focused on delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring team member satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Directly manage all facets of retreat operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards while driving revenue and profitability.
  • Talent Management: Recruit, onboard, train, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Schedule Management: Create and manage team schedules to facilitate effective daily operations.
  • Goal Setting: Establish individual and team objectives; devise actionable plans to achieve and surpass these goals.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate the ability to meet personal and team objectives.
  • On-the-Floor Coaching: Dedicate time to mentor team members through direct engagement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 2 years of experience in membership-based service or retail management.
  • Experience in managing hourly employees.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Able to build positive relationships with employees for effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Proficient in standard software and basic business math.
  • Financial and P&L management experience.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
