Are you looking to transition from traditional bedside nursing? Our infusion nurses provide personalized care to specialty infusion patients on a one-on-one basis in their residences. We offer compensation for travel time at your nursing rate and reimburse all mileage incurred.



Medications Administered:

  • Immunoglobulin Therapy
  • IV Antibiotics
  • Enteral and Total Parenteral Nutrition
  • Anti-inflammatory Biologics
  • Inotropes
  • Clotting Factor and other specialty medications
Key Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.

  • Complies with policies and procedures regarding the scope of infusion nursing services, pharmacy services, and relevant state regulations
  • Follows INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, and the ethical code established by the American Nurses Association
  • Collaborates with pharmacy personnel, physicians, and patients to establish and monitor therapeutic goals
  • Conducts assessments for all assigned patients and develops a comprehensive Plan of Care
  • Manages vascular access devices, including the insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified)
  • Provides education to patients and their caregivers
  • Evaluates patient progress towards goals and recommends adjustments to the Plan of Care as necessary
  • Coordinates nursing care with home health and community agencies as needed
Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Valid nursing license in the state(s) of practice
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in infusion and home health care preferred
  • Extensive background in IV therapy preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Flexible availability to work various shift models
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must meet company standards for driving record and age requirements
