Key Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Wellness Retreat Manager position are crafted to guarantee outstanding guest service and team member satisfaction. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage all facets of Daily Operations:
    • Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of retreat operations, from driving revenue and profitability to managing inventory, ensuring brand systems and processes are consistently followed during each shift.
    • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
    • Effectively create and manage team member schedules to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
    • Establish individual team member and overall retreat objectives; develop plans and convert those plans into actionable steps to meet and exceed targets.
    • Lead by example, showcasing the ability to achieve both personal and team objectives.
    • Dedicate time to engage with the team on the floor, providing real-time coaching.
  • Uphold and align the team and retreat with our Brand Standards:
    • Foster an environment dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service.
    • Focus on building guest loyalty by consistently adhering to the proven operational framework of Massage Heights.
    • Enhance the value of the Massage Heights brand in the minds of current and prospective guests by supporting and implementing the brand's Mission, Core Values, and Strategies.
  • Drive business growth through local store Marketing initiatives:
    • Plan, prepare, and execute events to promote Massage Heights in the local community.
    • Conduct necessary marketing activities to generate leads.
    • Establish partnerships with local businesses.
Ideal Candidate Profile

A strong candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in membership-based service and/or retail management.
  • Experience managing hourly wage employees.
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with employees to manage coaching and mentoring effectively.
  • Proficient in standard software and computer applications.
  • Basic business math skills.
  • Financial and P&L experience.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
