Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Manager to join our team in Houston. The Regional Nurse Manager will oversee the operations of multiple clinics in the assigned market and supervise nursing staff in their respective clinics. They will oversee patient care, set work schedules, coordinate meetings, and make personnel, process, procedure, management, and budgetary decisions. In collaboration with the National Director of Nursing, the Regional Nurse Manager will lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and the creation and/or modification of standard operating procedures (SOP).


The Regional Nurse Manager is responsible for collaborating with the National Director of Nursing to ensure all clinical staff maintain annual and quarterly (minimum) education sessions surround in pharmaceutical therapies and any other related clinical care activities deemed necessary.


Medix Infusion provides personalized home and in-suite infusion therapy services for patients with chronic or acute conditions. Our dedicated team ensures each patient’s journey is as smooth as possible. We offer a range of medical infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable and infusion treatments.


Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise all nursing staff in the assigned market.

· Manage clinical staff schedules to facilitate efficiency and quality patient care.

· Lead and motivate the team.

· Select and hire professional personnel.

· Ensure annual evaluations are completed for all clinic staff.

· Maintain high levels of knowledge and skills among clinical team members.

· Maintain quality improvement program initiatives, identify areas of concern, and develop potential solutions.

· Participate as needed in all programs, licensure, and other external audits.

· Stay current with the latest evidence-based practice.

· Manage and resolve clinical grievances.

· Facilitate learning and transitions in care delivery.

· Promote collaboration between departments.

· Assist and assign committee needs related to clinical matters.

· Mitigate risk for individual clinical team members and the organization.

· Advocate for nursing specialties.

· Oversee department budgets.

· Assist in the development and maintain policies according to Nursing Standards and regulations, ACHC Standards, and company requirements.

· Ensure staffing levels and coverage are adequate to meet patient care and regulatory requirements.

· Develop and implement staff training and development programs to meet continuing education and contractual requirements, and to further knowledge of medical care and working in a team environment.

· Work closely with the Vice President of Operations, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Medical Providers, and other Directors and Managers, as appropriate, to ensure the nursing program meets patient care and regulatory requirements.

· Spend up to 25% of time traveling to clinics.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 4 years of experience in the nursing field in management or supervisory role.

· Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.

· Current, unrestricted state RN license.

· A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment, evidenced by positive employment references.

· Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.

· Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with Medix Infusion staff, vendors, and patients.

· Ability to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Medix Infusion team.

· Passion for education and mentoring clinical staff.

· Knowledge and sensitivity to cultural and language differences as they pertain to patient care delivery.

· Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and proficient in drug calculation to ensure safe and accurate medication ordering and administration.

· Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
