They develop new business by scouting leads via the internet, phone, mailings, and tradeshows. They promote sales and implement marketing campaigns to increase revenue in chosen market areas.

In the role of a BDC representative, you will drive growth by developing and nurturing business relationships with present and future customers. You will coordinate incoming online and telephone requests, and make appointments for the sales team. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the number of leads that convert to actual sales


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Greet customers and answer phone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.

Pull information from Auto Alert to determine customer’s current vehicle status.

Meet with customers while they are in for Service to explain potential options they have on their current vehicle.

Call and schedule appointments for customers to meet with a Sales Consultant.

Generate appointments by being proactive in researching in the equity data mining tool to market potential customers.

Responsible for making outbound sold and unsold follow-up phone calls.

Call current and potential customers on company campaigns.

Maintain and execute compliance guidelines, policies and procedures at all times. Including, but not limited to state and federal laws, OSHA, Red Flags, Privacy and OFAC.

Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be presentable and professional appearing at all times

Must have valid Driver’s License and good driving record

High School Diploma or equivalent required

1-2 years customer service experience preferred

Good organizational skills and time management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent listening skills

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Knowledge of relevant computer applications

Ability to demonstrate Miller Auto Mission and Values
