What we’ve done due to our rapid growth is start an Entry Level Management Training Program to meet this expansion. Currently we are looking for 5-7 Managers here in New York then growing out to 10 Cities next year which will all be paid for and licensed by HōM Pro. So basically creating a solid team + and business mindsets is what we are looking for. As part of our 18 month training period, we are looking for the most motivated candidates who can be consistent, reliable, learn our system and deliver great results. The Landscaper/Handyman/Construction professional is a versatile and skilled individual responsible for a wide range of tasks related to landscaping, general maintenance, and construction projects. This position requires a combination of physical labor, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The Landscaper/Handyman/Construction professional must have knowledge of various construction techniques and be familiar with landscaping practices to carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Landscaping:

    • Designing, planning, and implementing landscaping projects, including planting, lawn care, and irrigation systems.
    • Maintaining and enhancing existing landscapes by pruning, fertilizing, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
    • Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
    • Installing and repairing landscape features such as fences, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor lighting.
  2. General Maintenance:

    • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry work, and repairs.
    • Fixing and maintaining plumbing and electrical systems.
    • Conducting inspections to identify maintenance needs and addressing them promptly.
    • Assisting with the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and other equipment.
  3. Construction:

  • Assisting in construction projects, including demolition, remodeling, and renovation.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Operating construction tools and equipment, such as power tools, drills, and saws.
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with other team members, such as contractors and architects, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  1. Customer Service:

    • Interacting with clients and addressing their questions, concerns, and requests.
    • Providing recommendations and suggestions for improvement based on client needs.
    • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in landscaping, general maintenance, and construction.
  • Proficiency in various landscaping techniques, including planting, irrigation, and hardscaping.
  • Knowledge of basic construction methods, tools, and materials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license (if required for the job).
  • Any additional certifications or licenses related to landscaping, maintenance, or construction would be advantageous.
