Mission of the role:
Ensure an excellent resident living experience by providing preventative maintenance and completing repair work orders in a prompt and professional manner.
Functional Accountabilities:
- Preventative Maintenance- Systematically inspect Multifamily buildings per set schedule as part of a preventative maintenance program.
- Multifamily Work Order Response: Complete, assist and coach others to successfully address all Multifamily work order requests via resident work order application.
- Tenant Onboarding: Assist in welcoming new tenants by providing practical training for best use of their apartment’s appliances and fixtures, and how to respond in case of emergencies.

- Customer Service: Demonstrates a commitment to tenant service; serves and satisfies internal and external customers; holds self accountable for quality outcomes; understands customers and takes a proactive approach to meeting their needs in an effective and timely manner.
- Teamwork: Works with and helps others to accomplish objectives; participates willingly and effectively on team assignments and projects; fosters a working atmosphere conducive to collaborative efforts.
- Accountability: Assumes responsibility for successfully accomplishing work objectives and delivering business results; setting high standards of performance for self and others.
Requirements:
- Handyman skills including carpentry, plumbing fixtures, paint and wall repairs
- Working knowledge of building systems and roofing, familiarity with appliances, light electrical
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs safely
- Ability to safely use ladders and climb multiple flights of stairs
