Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team In this role, you will provide maintenance services to a high-end luxury residential building in New York. You will maintain common areas and tenant needs when applicable.
We are looking for a hard-working team player who is committed to delivering quality work. Professional property maintenance experience is a significant advantage, but we value a positive attitude that can enhance our team's dynamics most 
Responsibilities may include the following: 
  • Provide minor repairs and perform standard maintenance on equipment associated with buildings, grounds, fixtures, machinery, and lighting in common areas and tenant areas if applicable
  • Work with the management to incorporate outside vendors when necessary to complete more extensive repairs
  • Ensure all repairs and tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Oversees and coordinated all preventative maintenance of the building, and create a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Having an understanding of major systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  • Respond to or assist with after-hours emergency calls with proper and swift resolution
  • May have to perform repairs and/or assessments in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, Keys/locksmith/doors, painting, and other general maintenance duties.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner 
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidentiality - Ensure that all unit owner's privacy is maintained
  • Treat all employees and unit owners with respect and professionalism
  • Maintain professionalism when interacting with unit owners and company management
  • Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis
