Automotive Key Account Manager

The KAM is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers. MUST HAVE experience working with suppliers like Ford.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
- Close sales
- Provide technical support to customers
- Develop and execute sales plans
- Track and report sales results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales
- Strong technical knowledge of the products and services sold by the company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to build rapport with customers
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service
