Job Description: Senior Key Account Manager


As Senior Key Account Manager, you will spearhead one of our client's largest accounts, with a primary focus on the automotive industry. Your mission will extend beyond conventional account management, encompassing digital transformation, client management, project management, consulting, and driving a strategic roadmap.


Your role comprises several crucial aspects:


  • Client Management and Satisfaction: Your primary mission is to ensure the utmost satisfaction and support for this key client. This involves building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring the successful implementation of our client's solutions.


  • Sales Support and Evangelization: Play a pivotal role in sales support, guiding the customer through the technical sales cycle. This includes technical lead qualification, pre-sales value engagement, managing customer technical satisfaction, and evangelizing our solutions to various business units within the client's organization.


  • Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives related to digital transformation, ensuring that this client maximizes the benefits of cutting-edge technologies and stays ahead in the industry 4.0 landscape.


  • Product Expertise: Serve as the client's advocate within the industry, representing their needs and perspectives. Act as a bridge between the Marketing department and Business Development activities, providing crucial insights.


  • Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to oversee the successful implementation of our client's solutions. This includes efficient PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) practices.


  • Consulting: Provide expert guidance and consulting services to the client, helping them navigate complex challenges and optimize the use of our client's solutions.


  • Roadmap Management: Develop and drive a strategic roadmap in collaboration with the client, ensuring alignment with their objectives and industry trends.


Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge and experience in the software industry, with a strong preference for software related to engineering.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Extensive knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Experience managing large and global accounts, with a strong preference for building long-term relationships (farming).


Recruitment Process Details:


Reporting Structure: You will report to the Global Customer Success Manager (N+1), based in France (Paris), with your N+2 located in the UK.

Work Location: Farmington Hills. 3 days remote, 2 days at the office

Scope of the Role: Primarily focused on our client biggest account in the US (Automotive industry)

Type of Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary Package: Competitive fixed salary + 7% to 15% variable

Start Date: ASAP
