POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the VP of Franchising, performs a variety of tasks related to the sales development cycle, onboarding, training, and support of franchisees and the Franchise Department. Serving as a liaison between franchisees and COIT, works to ensure franchise relations are maintained, franchise operations are consistent with company standards and compliant with the requirements of the franchise agreement. Qualified candidates should have prior franchise administration/support experience and/or industry related operational experience. Individuals in this role must have initiative, be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and be capable of solving complex customer service-related issues. The Franchise Support Coordinator assists the VP of Franchising with administrative, planning, and event-related tasks as well. Additionally, the Franchise Support Manager is responsible for building a strong relationship with franchisees and our corporate team. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Franchise Support:
- Assist in efforts to grow top-line sales through focusing on same store sales increases, improving the sales of each COIT service area, training, coaching, and "buy in" to all products and services available.
- Using a variety of resources (on-site visits, reports, etc.) develops goals for individual franchises for improvement and growth along with others in the Department.
- Motivates franchise owners through development communication, statistics, and support.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the franchise department; takes on leadership role as needed.
- Supports, coordinates, and conducts appropriate training programs for new and existing franchises.
- Conduct and/or document franchise site visits as necessary for the purpose of evaluating the franchise business for the purposes of ensuring franchise agreement compliance, identifying areas of needed improvement, make recommendations, establish a follow-up procedure, and measure results.
- Resolves escalated conflicts/concerns between franchises and corporate office.
- Composes routine correspondence; responds to concerns and requests for information in relation to the franchise system.
- Initiates, and maintains a variety of files and records of information for franchise related files.
- Document and track new franchise sales performance.
- Cultivate, maintain effective relationship with Franchisees, Corporate staff, and Divisional staff.
- Communicate recommended marketing and advertising practices to the Franchisees, work closely with marketing department; summarize and evaluate results of Franchisees marketing activities.
- Accountable for identifying and communicating Franchise performance and needs to achieve success.
- Coordinate, schedule, and assist in the implementation of training programs for Franchisees with appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Coordinates meetings, seminars, and convention preparations.
- Effectively handle general inquiries from Franchisees; implement strong communication level with prospective and existing franchisees using memos, newsletters, fax, and electronic media.
General:
- Assist in the successful delivery of conventions, training seminars and company meetings as directed. This may include but is not limited to developing and presenting topics before the attendees, and leading training sessions and workshops.
- Proficient in the use and training of the COIT Order Entry System, (COES)
- Keeps current with new products, company programs and services.
- Professionally represent COIT to the public, customers, and key vendors on an as-needed basis. This includes wearing appropriate business attire.
- Participate/Assist in the sales process as needed.
- Maintain a strong communication process with prospective and existing franchisees.
- Establishes, maintains, and supports COIT Franchise policies and procedures.

- Ability to work independently.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Requires the ability to travel as needed (10-20%) to franchises and divisions within the United States and Canada.
- Ability to obtain documents necessary to travel within the United States and Canada

- College degree OR related work experience
- Acceptable driving record
