Excelsior Wellness Center is looking for a Certified Peer Specialist to join our treatment team and who has a passion for behavioral health and serving our community.
How to Qualify:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- Has completed, or has the ability to complete, specialized training through Washington State HCA in becoming a Certified Youth or Family Specialist. Dual certification preferred.
- Minimum one year experiencing working and/or volunteering directly with youth.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for employment. *New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of employment*
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Participates as a member of the treatment team providing outreach, engagement and support of on-going services to enrolled youth and families.
- Utilizes personal experiences of recovery to provide youth or families guidance and support in their own recovery.
- On-Call duties required.

The Providence PPO plan has the following monthly premium and responsible deductible. Dental and vision premiums are covered in this.
- Employee only: $o monthly premium/ $250 deductible.
- Employee & child(ren): $0 monthly premium/ $500 deductible.
- Employee & Spouse: $50 monthly premium/ $500 deductible.
- Employee & Family: $50 monthly premium/ $500 deductible.
