Medical Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Concentra Career Choice. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine medical procedures, including phlebotomy, vital sign collection, and testing, under the supervision of a treating clinician.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Triage and disposition patients, providing accurate and timely information to clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and operate medical devices and equipment, adhering to current policies and procedures.
- Complete quality assurance activities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Manage patient flow and volume, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Perform clerical tasks, including documentation, record-keeping, and communication with patients and staff.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school or Military Medical Specialist with current Medical Assistant credentials.
- Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements and previous medical office experience preferred.
