Overview

This full-time, exempt position reports to the Survey Department Manager and takes responsible charge of and coordinates work activities for multiple large and/or complex land surveying projects simultaneously to their successful completion. Typical projects include platting, easements, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys. Willing to train the right candidate, very good mentoring situation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Take responsible charge for professional land surveying projects as requested.

Effectively communicate with Clients, construction personnel, local authorities, and the general public as needed.

Successfully complete projects within established schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.

Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction as well as participate in development of new clients.

Use of Civil 3D to modify, correct and update documents.

Requirements

Registration as Professional Land Surveyor in Texas or other states with the ability to obtain registration in Texas within 6 months.

Experience in civil 3D with Platts, Topo, Boundaries, etc.

Looking to grow into a leadership role.

RPLS or S.I.T.

Auto CAD Civil 3D.

Looking to get RPLS in 3 to 6 months.

Have very good verbal and written communication skills.

Be in good standing with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Legally able to work in the U.S. if not a citizen or permanent resident.
