The Vice President – ASG, reporting to the CIO, is a senior Information Technology leader with a proven track record of scoping, defining, planning and execution on the Key IT Programs and Initiatives.  The position is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the ASG department aligned with key organizational objectives, establishing the planning, execution and operationalization of the initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Transform App Support organization to follow the DevOps methodology
  • Ability to manage and build upon a high performing team of Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts and Product Specialist responsible for managing applications
  • Provide guidance and prioritize initiatives for the team.
  • Management of vendors and contracts to ensure service continuity.
  • Cross team collaboration with IT, Operations and Clinical teams to advance the corporate initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives with clients and mobilize cross organization teams to support it.
  • Develop and report key metrics for the department.
  • Management of the Core back-Office systems which include but not limited to:
    • Core Healthcare Claims Processing Platform
    • Provider Credentialing Platform
    • Eligibility and Enrollment management
    • Benefit Plan Configuration
    • Provider Contracts Configuration and automation
    • Client implementation
    • Claims Editing, DRG Grouper, Reference Based Pricing Solutions and other core services management
  • Manage the initiation, planning and delivery of strategic initiatives in a TPA / Payer market
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 12+ years of experience in healthcare IT in TPA/ Payer setting
  • Major in Computer Science, Technology or another related field.
  • Experience with HealthCare eco-system including configuring and enhancements to Claims Processing Platform and Provider credentialing platform
  • Well versed with On-Shore/Off-shore engagement model.
  • Knowledge of managed services models.
  • Excellent Budget & Resource planning skills.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
