SCHEDULE & LOCATION:

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, typically Monday to Friday, based in our Fairview Heights, IL office.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner - Therapist, it is your responsibility to:

  • Provide mental health services and advocacy for families within and outside the agency
  • Offer individual and group therapy to children, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment goals with clients and their guardians
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support clients' mental health and stability
  • Ensure proper billing for self-pay and insured clients, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in utilization reviews (URs)
  • Participate in clinical case staffing and provide crisis intervention when needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field
  • Knowledge about evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment modalities used with the population we serve
  • Understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism
  • Ability and willingness to complete CARE and TCI training
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC)
